The legendary Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" is one of those perfect songs that seems like it has always existed. The song wasn't a hit until after Cooke's death, but it still has power and resonance today – Barrack Obama even paraphrased the song's lyrics in the speech he gave the night he won the presidential election. "Change" and "This Light of Mine" display Cooke's gospel roots and "Keep Movin' On" is another classic number that stays positive in the face of adversity.
