Sam Prekop

This self-titled debut from the Sea and Cake's breathy frontman takes a warm, loose and organic approach to pop song structure. Aided by a jazz drummer and an upright bass, Prekop's songs bleed into mellifluous shapes; Jim O'Rourke (Sonic Youth, Gastr del Sol) is on hand to smooth out some of the edges.
