These Newport Beach emo kids debut on Capitol with this supercharged, less-screamo- more-emo self-titled 12-song set. The spider on the cover is fitting, as each song is built on a real web of intricate lead riffs, with big guitars dropping in at the chorus and quintuple-tracked vocals sweeping over it all, arcing like a cliff diver who suddenly sprouts wings just before impact.
