Sebadoh

This re-release of Sebadoh's first record (from 1989) features extended versions of that album's between-song collages (a major point of interest when it first came out). It also includes the original's entire 31-song track list plus an extra 21 songs culled from previously unreleased 7-inches and live tapes. Eric Gaffney and Lou Barlow's talents were far beyond the formative stages even this early, and The Freed Man, with "Narrow Stories," "True Hardcore" and "Soulmate," will be a treat for fans who came along after Sebadoh's early records had gone out of print.
