Lead single "Party Like a Rockstar" is an exhausting exercise in genre melding, pitting screaming spandex guitars against a rattling southern beat and lyrics that suggest an affinity for Marilyn Manson. Nothing else here has the same immediacy, as the group spends too long with middling mid-tempo love ballads (sensitivity doesn't seem their strong suit) and excursions into country rap (the unbearable "Rollin'"). But the rambunctious "Showin' Me Love" and their collaboration with David Banner ("They Like Me") both bump.

Shop Boyz are banging heads with their out-of-nowhere hip-hop smash "Party Like a
Rockstar" – three Atlanta rappers chanting, "t-t-t-totally, dude!" over a Slash-style guitar
loop and cheap booty-clap beats. The Boyz call their style "hood rock," which probably
just means they're looking to pick up some hot Fall Out Boy groupies. But they boast about
