Shuggie only played for a few years and laid the guitar down before he reached the age of 23; Shuggie's Boogie proves that his departure was our loss. "I Got the Walkin' Blues" shimmers with B.B. King's light guitar touch, while the epic "12:15 Slow Goonbash Blues" is an antecedent to Southwestern bluesmen such as Stevie Ray Vaughn.
