The Skygreen Leopards

Although the cosmic country undertones of Disciples of California have yet to emerge, Jehovah Surrender sees the Leopards go from a duo to a full-blown band. Thick fuzz and a full kit give their dreamy, West Coast pop a much-welcomed kick. This doesn't prevent the falsettos of Glenn Donaldson and Donovan Quinn from floating like feathers in the wind, but they do possess more body and intent than usual, especially on "Apparitions of Suns," which ends with an actual breakdown.
