Slayer

Well, they've been doing it for over 20 years now, which begs the question: just how hard can a metal band remain after more than two decades? Judging from Christ Illusion, Slayer proves there is no shelf life for metal. Taking a hardcore tack that recalls their very first days and with a respectable amount of mosh-worthy middle riffs, and plenty of squalling cyclone lead guitar solos, Slayer shows it may just be worth the $27 it's gonna cost to check them out on their next tour.
