Fittingly, Slayer's 1991 live album bears the same sonic intensity and ferocious guitar sound as major influence Diamond Head's Evil Live. The set list, which doesn't miss a single Slayer classic from their first five records, and insanely perfect renderings, ensures Decade can easily double for the studio albums themselves. Plus, the recordings were made during Slayer's Seasons In the Abyss tour, when they were at their absolute peak creatively. Decade of Aggression is so much more than just a filler release. This album is awesome.
