Max Cavalera and Co. return with their sixth full-length, a strong showing of tight musicianship and engaging heavy metal. Always experimenting with worldly sounds and textures, Soulfly spare no rhythmic nuances or guitar riffing while Cavalera delivers an annihilating vocal performance. Electrifying tracks like "Warmageddon" and album opener "Blood Fire War Hate" (featuring David Vincent of Morbid Angel/Genitorturers on vocals) have so much intensity it's as if they're fueled by pure hatred.
