Rhapsody

This debut album from 1988 is a dark, swirling mixture of Zeppelin's thick sludge, as served up by fans of the MC5. It's a record aware of the inherent trappings of Metal and yet, is far from ironic. The opener "Flower" is one of the band's strongest and Chris Cornell's vocal histrionics on the album are something close to miraculous.
