Stacie Orrico released her first album when she was barely out of elementary school. That alone would be impressive enough, but when you factor in Orrico's mature voice and polished, professional demeanor you know you're dealing with a formidable talent. As part of the mainstream CCM musical movement, Orrico doesn't restrict herself to spiritual themes. Her songs (many of which she co-writes) also wrestle with teen love and various contemporary issues. As a result, her records do very well with the crossover pop audience, in addition to regularly topping the Christian music charts. Though she's already a charismatic performer, it will be even more interesting to see how her music and career develop over the coming years.
