Superchick

It could be said that there's not much new here but 'Chick fans don't need "new" so much as the rhythmic, positive consistency that this plucky outfit reliably delivers. If it makes you dance, don't fix it. Anybody hear the Depeche Mode in "Hey Hey"? The track is Superchick's "Personal Jesus" moment, rocking through high-school-rally cheers and whispers of you-go-girl encouragement. Those who can't stand saccharine should skip tracks like "So Beautiful" and stick to Sixpence moments like "Breathe" and "Crawl" or the Dave Ghazarian surprise on the last track.
