Tampa Red

This two-album set of reissues, spanning 1934 to 1953, show Tampa Red in the vanguard of
the early Chicago blues scene. He was instrumental in the wedding of country blues to
electricity, which produced the postwar urban blues style. Muddy Waters credits Tampa
