Terry Reid

The oft-forgotten Terry Reid is essential listening for any rock fan new to the singer-guitarist's music. In 1967, Reid was approached to be the singer for a band being formed by Jimmy Page, later to become Led Zeppelin. He turned him down for his own solo contract. A good thing because "Superlungs, "Speak Now" and "Stay With Me Baby" are all totally awesome songs.

Terry Reid is more famous for what he didn't do than for what he did. A teen singing
