Rhapsody

In some ways, this is the weirdest kids album we've heard in a while. Some covers are quite faithful ("Chim Chim Cheree," "Under the Sea"), while others strike out into surprising territory. The syrupy male-female duet of "Beauty and the Beast" seems geared for wine drinkers rather than the sippy-cup set, and the Countdown Kids also take some liberties with "Whistle While You Work," which they turn into a swinging, neo-disco instrumental. Still, if your munchkin digs Disney, this album will be the bee's knees.
