Even when they're singing about depressing subjects, the Delgados' indie pop is infectious in a slight-of-hand way; it's a chirpy, sunshine-infused illusion until you listen closely to the words. Winners include "Girls of Valor," "Is This All I Came For" and "Everybody Come Down."
