Though personnel changes have created a number of different live settings, The End of the World is primarily a collaboration between vocalist/guitarist/sometimes-drummer Stefan Marolachakis and guitarist Ben Smith. With drummer Robert Stillman, they released a four-song self-titled EP in May 2005 that won high praise around their Brooklyn home and had a song featured in the 2004 remake of The Manchurian Candidate. With bassist Adam Chilenski they released You're Making It Come Alive in the fall of 2006 on Chicago's Flameshovel label.
