Formed in 1958, the Mar-Keys were the original house band for legendary Memphis soul label Stax Records. With sharp drums, bold horns, and funky organ grooves, they scored one big hit, "Last Night!" before going thru line-up changes (two members left to start Booker T and the MGs). This comp features 12 great tracks of vintage instrumental party cuts.
