The McCoys

Not exactly visionaries, the McCoys had their biggest hit with the simple, infectious crunch of "Hang On, Sloopy." Whether trying to recapture the catchy groove of that hit or showing some brilliance on the folky "Sorrow," their simplistic songs have a tendency to work in their favor. Even the obligatory Middle Eastern-tinged track "Don't Worry Mother" is fun.
