The Pierce sisters -- Allison and Catherine -- create music that's sultry and inviting, yet effectively celebrates the introspective nature of its creators. Razor-sharp harmonies and counter melodies punctuate the girls' acoustic-based efforts, which are given plenty of space to breathe in a production where technology plays a small part in their less-is-more technique. If the honest and extremely personal approach to their music doesn't win you over, the Pierces' emotive voices certainly will.
