You'd think Polyphonic Spree's robe-wrapped, harmony-mad, indie rock take on 1960s Up With People-style positivism would wear out its welcome by now. Forget that! The songs on The Fragile Army still soar, uplifting while connecting everyone to their fellow man. But while some things remain the same, the Spree branch out too. "Get Up and Go" could be Queen in their prime, while the title track starts out fragile and goes completely barmy, as negative messages start to seep in showing that it isn't always easy holding your head up high.
