The Smithereens

In the five years since this New Jersey band's last album, music fads have come and gone. Solid hooks and expert songwriting, however, never go out of style, which brings us to the Smithereens. While God Save… isn't their best work, the band's skills are sharp enough so that even their weaker material is better than most. Best of is the place to start.
