The Sundays

About

With a classic British Jangle Pop sound interwoven with Harriet Wheeler's siren singing, the Sundays wowed indie kids everywhere with their 1990 debut Reading, Writing & Arithmetic. Although they were more commercially successful for their gossamer cover of "Wild Horses," the Sundays could hold their own as songwriters, as proven on the hit "Here's Where The Story Ends." Unfortunately the band never made it huge in the mainstream as British journalists had predicted. The Sundays would later be criticized for making the same record three times, but as the old saying goes, "If it ain't broken, why fix it?"
