The Wildhearts are rock vets so battled scarred through substance abuse, record label rows and in-fighting it's a wonder they're still alive, never mind recording and touring. Frontman Ginger has been heading his rag-tag fugitive fleet since 1990, steering them through multiple line-up and record label changes, and all-but throwing away the early success of Earth Vs The Wildhearts, and P.H.U.Q through an appetite for self-destruction. Back together and back on track, all is forgiven thanks to Ginger's knack for laying life-affirming melodies alongside gutter-level rock riffs. Bazooka Joe can only dream of producing bubblegum this tasty.
