The Youngbloods

The Youngbloods are forever linked with "Get Together," quite possibly the Woodstock generation's No. 1 anthem (even though Dino Valente's original is better). Outside that they crafted some fine country-folk and rock 'n' roll between 1967 and '71. Good and Dusty sees the Youngbloods grooving on a mix of vintage blues, Southern soul and low-key originals. Its we're-just-jamming-by-the-fireplace production is pure Music from Big Pink, and that's always a good thing.
