Donavon Frankenreiter

Being buddies with fellow surfer-singer Jack Johnson paid off for Frankenreiter -- it helped him bring his equally enjoyable post-Dave Matthews Band acoustica to a wider audience. As evident on his self-titled debut, Frankenreiter has an inviting, slightly raspy vocal style and a knack for writing gently funky numbers.
