If all you know is "She Blinded Me With Science," then you're in for a treat, since Dolby's best work isn't necessarily his hits, as shown by this stunning debut. Years ahead of its time in 1982, this collection of witty, clever and catchy synth pop songs continues to age well, especially on standouts "One of Our Submarines" and "Europa and the Pirate Twins."

year. Dolby, who played on Foreigner IV and wrote "New Toy" for Lene Lovich, takes after
