The flirty songs of Tristan Prettyman recall Edie Brickell and Jack Johnson. On her debut album, acoustic guitars strum and dance in love songs that groove with mellow, funky undertones. Fellow San Diegan Jason Mraz lends vocals on "Shy That Way," and G. Love blows some harmonica on "Simple as It Should Be." "November" is a haunting autumnal tune.
