Trivium

Bearing an uncanny sonic resemblance to Metallica, Trivium (from Florida, of course) resurrects the intricate heaviocity of the Master of Puppets era. The occasional creepy interlude either shows a fascination with doom metal's goth side, or perhaps is the first signs of a future in new age music. Either way, you listen to Trivium simply because they're so damn good at mimicking the Bay Area kings of metal.
