Twista

Paul Wall works a terrifying amount of space into Twista's The Day After with a chopped and screwed version that encourages parallels with dub reggae's master producers. "Holding Down the Game" is the most extreme example of the process, but the overall feel is one of THC-soaked melancholy, dread and slo-mo nihilism.
