It would be hard to say UB40 have mellowed with age -- they always came off as a mellow cover band enamored with classic late-'70s reggae -- but this album, coming fast on the heels of their 25th year, does have the chilled-out, lived-in feel of a pair of old trousers that are always a pleasure to put on. Five great covers and a slew of hooky, breezy, unforced originals.
