Venus Hum

This third release from Venus Hum's Tony Miracle, Kip Kubin and Annette Strean finds them well rested after taking two years off for solo projects and health issues. Their renewed energy shows in the music, particularly on the catchy "Yes & No," where Strean's Nico-esque vocals finally get let off the leash for some rock chick wailing in the chorus. If Bjork were to write pop tunes with the Velvet Underground, it might sound like this.
