Voxtrot

The members of this Austin-based band are Anglophiles, but they're not blinded by their reverence for the Smiths and Bloc Party. Bouncy, frenetic pop with loping basslines pushed up front in the mix is always a toe-tappin' treat, but Voxtrot's thoughtful, witty lyrics take songs like "The Start of Something" and "Missing Pieces" to a higher level.
