Wallace Roney

About

"Miles Davis clone" charges have dogged Roney for years, and not entirely without cause -- he shares the elder trumpeter's singing tone and often works in a realm similar to Davis' mid- to late-'60s quintet. That said, he does execute his ideas skillfully, and he keeps good company in his sidemen.
