Wat Tyler

About

Sharp-witted and wildly diverse in their sound, Wat Tyler are one of England's true treasures. They poke fun at people and bands others wouldn't dare cross (including themselves). Their songs range from pretty, bubbly Indie pop to fast, coarse Hardcore. They have an unmatchable talent for being either inane, as in "Wet Wet Wet (The F*cking Bed)," or scathing -- and they often blur the line, subtly masking their critiques in seemingly stupid lyrics. Wat Tyler have no sacred cows and don't seem to feel the need to adhere to one music style: they poke fun at whomever they want, however they want, and they are better for it.
