Ween

The thing about Ween is that when they set out to do a Motörhead send-up ("It's Gonna Be A Long Night"), they end up sounding like ZZ Top. Either way, you can't lose with these über-talented tricksters who have finally gotten back to doing what they do best: making weird music that's as interesting as Zappa's, only funnier.

It's not easy being Ween. Their most innovative albums -- notably 1997's The Mollusk -- are
full of catchy shock rock, but most people think all they do is make musical jokes about
things like infectious diseases. Despite an ode to the mood-enhancing drug Zoloft, Quebec
