Whiskeytown

Pneumonia was shelved for two years, but with the success of Ryan Adams' solo career, Lost Highway released it in a seemingly timely fashion. Those who thought Adams left Americana behind to in favor of smooth, adult alternative radio tunes will find that he was already well on his way to doing just that on this album. The highlights are the "Ballad Of Carol Lynn" and "Mirror, Mirror."

For two years, the now-defunct Whiskeytown were caught in a music-industry maelstrom
of mergers and cutbacks that left the band without a label or distribution. Having suffered
