About

A key member of the oddball coalition known as Anticon, Why? began recording in his hometown of Cincinnati, eventually hooking up with burgeoning weird-rap hero Dose One and champion DJ Mr. Dibbs while attending art school. He performed with a live improv group called Apogee and started putting out tapes under the name greenthink. In addition to releasing solo albums, Why? has recorded and toured extensively with his critically acclaimed group cLOUDDEAD. Like his Anticon peers, he boasts a musical style that's challenging and unconventional -- you either love it or hate it.
