Recorded live at the Ahoy arena in Rotterdam, Holland, before a crowd of 10,000, Black Symphony features the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and the 20-voice Pa'dam Choir accompanying these Dutch Goth superstars, giving their already epic songs more majestic life. With the track listing relying heavily on 2007's acclaimed The Heart of Everything, songs like "Stand My Ground" offer a new arrangement befitting the impressive lineup, while the crystal-clear production makes the live duet with Life of Agony's Keith Caputo on "What Have You Done" all the more powerful.
